Wells Cathedral School April Concerts

The Wurzels

When: 1st April 2017 @ 7.00pm
Where: Cedars Hall, The Liberty, Wells, Somerset, BA5 2ST

“The Wurzels represent a lost England. Their live show is raucously entertaining.” – The Telegraph
“If Chuck Berry could sing about Memphis, Tennessee, why couldn’t we sing about Shepton Mallet?” – Pete Budd

Yokel heroes The Wurzels, with support from our own young musicians, test both the acoustics and scrumpy-proof flooring of Cedars Hall with the gig that is just what we’ve all been waiting for. Cider will be on sale, collarless shirts, corduroy trousers and red neckerchiefs strongly recommended. Combine harvesters may not be parked on the cricket square.
